Apple MacBook Pro mini review
The design and build of the MacBook Pro is second to none. The 1 inch aluminum chassis just inspires confidence. There are extra features not seen on other laptops like the motion sensor - a device used to lock and protect the hard drive in the event of any sudden movement. A magnetic Power connector, to stop your dream laptop crashing to the floor, when you accidently trip over the power cable, and a built in video Web Cam. The keyboard is solid and lights up in low light conditions. There are extra useful function keys along the top for changing the volume and brightness. The trackpad is enormous and has a cool two-finger scroll feature - put two fingers on the trackpad, then any movement you do will scroll up and down or side to side. There are 2 USB. optical audio in and audio out ports. An ExpressCard Slot, DVI, ethernet and 400/800 firewire interfaces are included too. The screen is large and 67% brighter than most other laptops. It supports a resolution 1440×900. A glossy screen is also available.
The battery has a cool feature - press the battery button and its lights light up indicating the amount of Battery life remaining.Typical Battery life is typically 3 hours 15 mins. Other features include Bluetooth and Wireless IEEE 802.11n capability. Overall this is a cool laptop with great performance and that can run Windows XP, Mac OS X, and potentially Linux. Its smaller and weighs less than other laptops in its class.
